Y Strainer Application
Y-Strainers are designed for a wide variety of applications where protection from foreign matter in a pipeline is required. They are used to protect from dirt or impurities other equipments such as valves, pumps and other pipeline accessories. They are widely used for water, saturated steam, air, gas, oil and crude oil products. Operating parameters are in accordance with ASME B16.34 standard.
Y Strainer Installation
Y-Strainers are designed for mechanically removing solids from flowing media by a perforated screen or a wiring mesh, cleanable and replaceable in line. Horizontal installation is recommended, screen never upwards.
